We started to sail with two other Norwegian boats; SY Otium, Capt. Rolf AB Seaman Terje, and SY Mañana crewed by Harald and Hilde. To begin with, it looked promising, but ever so gradually we saw that Mañana struggled to keep up the two larger boats. Later in the evening, both Vision and Otium took reefs in the sails. But at night we saw that it did not do much, and that Manjaña with its 37 feet and only a small selftacking jib, by the morning had ended up 5-6 nm behind us. We gave our: fair winds, farewell and see you around. Three had become two, and reefs were removed.
